Derek S. Tabak
Environmental Marketing and Sales Founder
Derek Tabak has been a prominent Los Angeles business man and entrepreneur for over thirty years. Mr. Tabak established King Industrial Products Inc. in 1998, which distributes a wide variety of industrial supplies to businesses throughout the Southwest. Prior to King Industrial Products, he held the position of Vice President, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for the largest national textile convertor for nearly 10 years.
Having always had a passion and respect for the environment, Derek began to realize that there would be a real value in reviving and improving upon the composting techniques he experienced and practiced in his earlier years. This was not strictly motivated by eco-altruism but by an opportunity to drive better economic results for commercial and public entities while advancing the Green Revolution.
"I didn't get into this thinking of myself as an environmentalist" said Tabak, who reasoned that there was other more romantic and sensationalized ways to reduce green house gas emissions. "Composting is the most affordable, cost effective and simplest way for a business to reduce its costs of operations while contributing to the betterment of the community and society. Ecco-Technologies, LLC have the most qualified team of associates who are experts in their field. We offer products that will continue working to save you money for the long-run and have a positive effect for the environment."
Mr. Tabak is a member of the United States Building Council Los Angeles Chapter, the US Composting Council, the Coalition for Clean Air Los Angeles Chapter, Global Green + USA and the Sierra Club.
Derek Tabak received his Bachelor's of Science degree from the State University of New York.
